Rimpy Kaur Gill born on 19/12/1975 in Chandigarh, Punjab, India. Her on screen name Mahi Gill. She finished her Master in theater from Punjab University, Chandigarh.
Filmy Career
Mahi love acting from her childhood days. She complete her Master’s Degree in 1998. Gill want a break for show her talent. In 2003 she got a Punjabi movie Hawayein with role Lalli. She worked in Khushi Mil Gayee another Punjabi Movie in 2004. Gill Sirf Panch Din come in 2006. Her bollywood debut movie Khoya Khoya Chand released in 2007. She got fame on Bollywood screen from Anurag Kashyap’s movie Dev. D. Gill played a role Parminder (Paro). Public enjoy her character and gave her lots of love. After this movie she worked in Gulaal Pal Pal Dil Ke Ssaat, Aagey Se Right and Dabang.
In 2011 she appeared in Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster and Paan Singh Tomar film. These movie proved Mahi had lot’s of acting skills. Gill worked in Telugu movie Thoofan in 2013. Her one of movie Wedding Anniversary came with Nana Patekar in 2017. She is working another movie sequel of Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3. This movie will come in 2018.

Mahi won many awards for her better acting. She won Filmfare Awards Best Actress for Dev.D Movie. In 2012 she nominated Filmfare Best Actress Award for Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster. She got IIFA and Screen Awards for Dev. D Movie. Her movie Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Return got Big Star Entertainment Award in 2013.
