Biography

Deepika born on 05, January’ 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her father name Prakash. Mr. Prakash was international badminton player. Padukone mother Ujjala worked as travel agent. Her younger sister, Anisha is a golf player. Deepika grandfather, Ramesh was a secretary of the Mysore Badminton Association. Her family relocated to Bangalore, India. She was starting her education at Bangalore’s Sophia High School. Her pre university education completed from Mount Carmel College. She completed our Bachelor of Art degree in Sociology from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

Modeling Career

Deepika Padukone in her starting career worked on television commercials ads. She worked for soap Liril and modelled for various other brands and products. In 2005 she runway debut at the Lakme Fashion Week for designer Suneet Verma. And won the Model of the year at the ‘Kingfisher Fashion Awards’. She appeared in popular print campaign for the 2006 Kingfisher Calendar. Deepika in 21 year age relocated to Mumbai and stayed at her aunt’s home. Padukone appeared Himesh Reshammiya music video’s most popular song Naam Hai Tera Tera.

Filmy Career

Deepika Padukone in 2006 debut with Aishwarya, a Kannada movie directed by Indrajit Lankesh. Farah khan’s in year 2006 cast Deepika Padukone for the Melodrama movie OM SHANTI OM. Om Shanti om is a Hindi Bollywood movie and Shah Rukh Khan, actor in this movie. She got Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for OM Shanti Om Movie. After this movie, Padukone never look back and working in many movies. In 2017 she worked in Hollywood movie XXX: Return of Xander Cage. In which Padukone Played the lead female role opposite a famous Hollywood actor Vin Diesel. As of 2017 April, she has filmed an item number in Raabta Bollywood movie Directed by Dinesh Vijan. The movie based on Mumbai gangster 1980’s Dawood Ibrahim, Co stars Irrfan Khan.
